Sebastian Morgner is co-founder of the Future of Leadership Initiative, Managing Partner of the MLI Leadership Institute, author, and strategy coach. For over twenty years, he has accompanied leadership teams in strategy activation and transformation processes. As a strategy coach, he supports executives in decision-making.
The Wirtschaftswoche magazine wrote in its cover story “You Can Do Better” (Issue 12 on the topic of coaching, March 2021) about him: "It is the candid words that distinguish a coach like Morgner from a manager and can enrich the exchange between the two.".
He is the author of the book “Expedition Zukunft: How We Can Use Chance to Master Uncertainty and Complexity.” This book is aimed at leaders and young talents who want to use their leadership role effectively. Based on insights from neuroscience, the MLI Leadership Institute has developed a leadership concept that unites employees with diverse attitudes into a productive community: for a successful expedition towards the future.
He looks back on a career in the financial industry, was a marketing board member at a European major bank before becoming self-employed, and is a trained coach, mental trainer, and speaker. Sebastian Morgner lives with his wife, three daughters, and dog Fritz at Ammersee near Munich.
